Maria Rose
Artist Statement
Through my work, I explore the intersection of the subconscious, symbolic representation, and the human condition. Each painting serves as a bridge between personal experience and universal themes, inviting reflection on shared histories and emotional truths. Central to my practice is the invention of archetypes; distinct, evocative figures that embody philosophical inquiries and abstract principles. These forms act as vessels for complex ideas, encouraging viewers to engage with both their inner perceptions and the collective unconscious. Ultimately, I seek to create art that is both timeless and intimate, fostering a deeper understanding of the stories that shape us.
